    1. Friday: A burger, hotdog or other offering at the Welcome Barbecue
    2. Saturday: Breakfast
    3. Saturday: Fully catered Saturday SIN dinner (vegetarian options included)
    4. Sunday: Breakfast

    *** No wristbands are included with the Skippers Package.

  • Regatta registration fee:  $100
  • In consideration for participating in this event, I represent to the Nanaimo Yacht Club that my vessel has liability insurance currently in effect and that it will continue to be in effect for the duration of the regatta covering property damage, personal injury and death in an amount not less than $1,000,000 CAD per occurrence and that the policy covers yacht racing activities. (You will be asked to show proof of insurance when you pick up your skipper’s package prior to racing.)
  • In consideration for participating in this event, I represent to the Nanaimo Yacht Club that my vessel has liability insurance currently in effect and that it will continue to be in effect for the duration of the regatta covering property damage, personal injury and death in an amount not less than $400,000 USD (or CAD equivalent) per occurrence and that the policy covers yacht racing activities. (You will be asked to show proof of insurance when you pick up your skipper’s package prior to racing.) American Martin 242 competitors with approximately $400K USD liability insurance are requested to review NoR section 18.2. Please be aware that Canadian Maritime Law states that in cases where there may be a catastrophic accident resulting in a lawsuit, the law may allow a judgement of CAD $1,000,000.
  • SAFETY: The safety of a yacht and its crew is the sole and inescapable responsibility of the skipper/owner who must do his/her best to ensure that the yacht is fully sound, thoroughly seaworthy and manned by an experienced crew which is physically fit to face bad weather. The skipper/owner is responsible for filing a current, valid PHRF rating certificate when confirming race entry and ensuring that the yacht is sailed in the race as specified in the rating certificate. Any change to rating subsequent to the filing of this entry form is to be reported to the Race Committee prior to 21:00 Friday, July 1st.

    WAIVER: By proceeding with registration, clicking the "I Agree" box below, and participating in the regatta, I hereby acknowledge that I have read the rules and regulations issued for this event and agree to be bound by them; furthermore, that I waive my right to take any action against the Nanaimo Yacht Club and/or the sponsors of the regatta with respect to any Claims and will indemnify the Releasees for any Claims brought by me or in my name or on behalf of my heirs, executors and/or assigns or any Claims brought by or in the name of any of my crew members, their heirs, executors and/or assigns.
